Aqara sets #CES2025 alight with an avalanche of new home automation products!

Ah, CES! This annual event, which thrills all tech enthusiasts, is still full of surprises. And this year, Aqara strikes a blow with new products that will make us open our wallets yet again… Let's discover the main new features together.

Control panels that will revolutionize our walls

The Panel Hub S1 Plus steals the show with its 6.9″ touchscreen that elegantly replaces your traditional switches. Just imagine: no need to pull out your smartphone to manage your connected home! This little gem not only controls your lighting, but also acts as a Zigbee hub and Matter bridge.

Its little brother, the Touchscreen Dial V1, is not to be outdone, with its 1.32-inch round screen and haptic feedback wheel that gives an almost magical feel to settings. You have to try it to understand! A true Swiss Army knife that even incorporates temperature and humidity sensors!

The new generation of connected switches

The new Light Switch H2 and Dimmer Switch H2 are here, this time on the North American market! These little marvels work with or without neutral (no more headaches to find out if your installation is compatible).

The Light Switch H2 US is available in three versions, with up to three channels and four buttons for the most demanding. Flexibility that's sure to please tinkerers like me!

Sensors that push the limits

The Presence MultiSensor FP300 causes a sensation with its millimeter-wave technology coupled with a PIR sensor. And the craziest thing of all? It's battery-powered, with an autonomy of two years!

The Climate Sensor W100 is not to be outdone, with its display showing not only room temperature and humidity, but also local weather or data from another room.

A connected doorbell with facial recognition

The new G410 connected doorbell takes a leap forward with its 2K camera and 176° viewing angle. (A word of advice: keep an eye on this product, it could well become the market benchmark).

The G5 Pro camera, a new benchmark for video surveillance

As if that weren't enough, Aqara has another big surprise in store for us with its new G5 Pro camera! This little marvel of technology is available in two versions (PoE and Wi-Fi) and features a 4MP sensor that promises breathtakingly sharp images. Its f/1.0 lens captures four times more light than conventional f/2.0 lenses, enabling it to offer absolutely stunning night vision in color.

But what really makes the difference is its on-board intelligence. Thanks to its built-in NPU, the G5 Pro can recognize faces, vehicles, animals and even packages – all without an Internet connection.

Security is not left out, with encrypted eMMC storage and compatibility with NAS systems for local storage. Compatible with all major ecosystems (Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings), it also acts as a Matter controller, Thread border router and Zigbee hub.

And to top it all off, this camera is designed to withstand the elements with its IP65 certification and ability to operate between -30°C and +50°C. Its integrated 3W spotlight and 100 dB loudspeaker perfectly complement its deterrent functions.

The new kid on the block

The Hub M100 completes the range with an ultra-compact format that simply plugs into a USB port. Don't let its size fool you: this little concentrate of technology manages Wi-Fi, Thread and Zigbee.

Aqara once again confirms its leading position in the connected home ecosystem, with products that combine innovation and ease of use. These new products will be available later this year. Pricing has not yet been announced either.

You can also catch a glimpse of these new products on video, thanks to our friend Julien from Ca Sert à Quoi, with whom we're covering CES ;-)
