Sunethic: the ready-to-use solar station Made in France to reduce your electricity bill in 5 minutes!

Over the past two years, solar stations have multiplied, as we've already seen in our solar station comparison. It must be said that with soaring energy prices, any solution is a good one for reducing your bill. And this type of solar station, which simply plugs into an electrical outlet in less than 5 minutes, is proving to be a very interesting solution for quickly reducing your electricity bill! A new challenger has just arrived on the market, 100% French and with some great features: Sunethic! The solar station: 5 minutes to reduce your electricity consumption. I won't go into technical details again, as I've already explained it several times during tests of Sunology and Beem Energy solar stations, for example. But to put it briefly, a solar station is a photovoltaic panel connected to a micro-inverter, which is itself connected to an electrical outlet. Thanks to it, solar production is converted into 230V current and injected into the home's electrical system. Since electricity always takes the shortest route, this free electricity will power the appliances closest to the house. The energy consumed then bypasses the electricity meter and is therefore not billed. This video explains the principle very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9aCnZ8wj_kBy simply plugging a solar station into an electrical outlet in your home, in less than 5 minutes, you can immediately reduce your electricity consumption. This technology has now been widely proven and works perfectly! Sunethic: a French company fighting for the environment Sunethic is a French company based near Avignon. The company's name means a lot. It includes “Sun” for the sun, of course, and “Ethic.” Sunethic is indeed a mission-driven company (PACTE law of 2019), meaning it advocates equality between economic performance and contribution to the common good.

Our mission: To offer products and services that respect people and nature, are accessible to as many people as possible, in the field of renewable energies, and that rapidly contribute to the energy transition. Sunethic

Thomas Cautier, the founder, has set six objectives: Prioritize products assembled in France and Europe, which notably limits the carbon footprint Offer safety-certified products and services that contribute to the energy transition Offer accessible and profitable products, improving purchasing power Share profits with employees

These are very committed and laudable objectives, because it is indeed out of place to want to fight for the environment by, for example, installing Chinese solar panels that have traveled the entire planet… The components assembled by Sunethic are therefore all manufactured in France (with the exception of the microinverter, due to a lack of manufacturers in France :/).

I'll come back to this point in more detail, as I'll soon have the opportunity to visit the French factory that manufactures Sunethic's solar panels: Systovi, based near Nantes, which boasts 14 years of expertise in the field. I'll also meet the company's founder. This will be an opportunity to learn more about all this (and if you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments; I'll compile them for my visit ;-)

Sunethic F: A Complete and Versatile Solar Station

Unlike the competition, the Sunethic solar station is composed of two 390Wp “Full Black” photovoltaic panels, for a total power of 780Wp. We saw that the power of a station varied between 300 and 400Wp maximum among the four other competitors we tested. Then, extensions were needed to add two or three panels. The decision to go straight to 780W makes sense, since most people who purchase a station buy an extension, either at the same time or later, to properly cover their electrical needs, which are often higher than 300W.

  • To keep with environmental protection, these panels are 95% recyclable by the French eco-organization SOREN. But it will be many years before this is necessary, since they are guaranteed to still produce 80% of their power after 25 years.
  • The stand, also made in France, is made of 100% recyclable galvanized steel (stronger than aluminum), aesthetically pleasing, durable, and, above all, offers an adjustable tilt angle to boost production according to the seasons. It allows the station to be placed on the ground or mounted on the wall, depending on your needs.
  • Only 4 screws will need to be assembled on the support for the solar station to be operational. Hence the 5 minutes required for installation.
  • Of course it is possible to monitor solar production. As a result, we benefit from a very complete application, since here the manufacturer is not using yet another Tuya connected socket, but an APsystems micro inverter connected via Bluetooth natively to a small box to be placed inside the home, which offers its own monitoring application. Moreover, a
  • plugin already exists for Jeedom
  • for this brand of inverter, the box delivered with the Sunethic should be compatible :D

Only the inverter and its cables come from China, due to a lack of closer manufacturers in this area. But this still allows 87% of the weight of the Sunethic station to be manufactured in France, and therefore low carbon production.

Despite this French manufacturing, Sunethic manages to offer a price close to its competitors, with a station at €1490. Note that for its launch, it benefits from a reduction of €50 thanks to our exclusive code

price at 1440€

We will have the opportunity to discover it in more detail in a few weeks, since I will have to be able to test the solution very soon.
