Nice, well known for its automation, and its home automation solution recently discovered in our test, has just been awarded the Innovation Award at CES 2024 forits Nice HR40 multifunction remote control. And it must be said that it has something to seduce!
Each year, these awards reward excellence in the design and engineering of technological products dedicated to the general public. The HR40 remote control from Nice was acclaimed this year for its ability to fully control the Smart Home system, thus redefining the user experience.

Nice HR40: a single remote control for the whole house
Nice HR40 is a complete control interface with a high-resolution 3.1-inch color touch screen (480×800 pixels). Like any “universal” remote control, it is therefore capable of controlling your multimedia equipment via infrared. But it is also capable of controlling the whole house thanks to its Wifi connection.
It allows you to see and communicate with visitors via the street panel and to view surveillance cameras. Thanks to its touch screen and integrated voice control, this intuitive remote control allows you to easily control multimedia systems, lighting, room temperature, security and surveillance devices, and much more. Easily configurable, the Nice HR40 quickly integrates into any Nice environment to control it according to your needs.
The possibilities are rather tempting! Of course, the Nice remote control will be compatible with the Nice and Elan systems. It remains to be seen the potential compatibilities with external equipment.
Unfortunately, we do not have any other information on this subject, nor on the price or the availability date. We will come back to it as soon as we have more information, with a complete test if possible ;-)
