Ecovacs presents innovative robots for all sectors! #IFA2023

Ecovacs was at IFA Berlin a few days ago to showcase all its new products. The manufacturer presented the DEEBOT X2 OMNI, its new high-end robot vacuum and mop. It also showcased the Airbot Z2, a robot capable of purifying the air throughout the house, the Winbot W2, which cleans windows, and finally a robot lawnmower. Spoiled for choice! This new DEEBOT X2 OMNI is characterized by its square shape and compact design. The move from the usual round robot vacuum and mop to a square one aims to improve cleaning efficiency: with a height of only 9.5 cm and a width of 32 cm, the DEEBOT X2 OMNI ensures flawless cleanliness, even in tight spaces, such as under beds and sofas. The decisive factor for the DEEBOT X2 OMNI's particularly slim dimensions is the new semi-solid-state lidar, which is directly integrated into the robot's structure and allows for a remarkably low overall height of only 9.5 cm!This DEEBOT X2 OMNI is truly very flat.

Thanks to the 20 cm longer main brush, floor cleaning is more efficient and precise than the DEEBOT X1 OMNI. And with a suction power of 8,000 Pa, the DEEBOT X2 OMNI is up to 60% more powerful than its predecessor, while maintaining the same noise level.

Thanks to enhanced computing power and an improved algorithm, the DEEBOT X2 OMNI can autonomously select the best navigation strategy using machine learning. This enables more precise and flexible obstacle avoidance, improved responsiveness, and smoother movement across the terrain.

The AIRBOT Z2 is capable of moving at a speed of 0.7 meters per second in complex home environments, equivalent to the walking speed of an adult. To achieve this, ECOVACS has developed AIVI 3D obstacle avoidance technology which combines different sensors such as 3D ToF, iToF and a camera.

To meet users' various air management needs, AIRBOT Z2 features a deep renewal system that provides active air management in five dimensions and stages: removal of airborne pollutants, long-lasting antibacterial action, fog-free air humidification, long-lasting air refreshing and noticeable breeze.

In addition, a special hair removal and odor filtering function has been developed for families with pets. This feature effectively combats pet hair and odors with optimized air ducts and structural design, providing a cleaner, fresher living environment, even in the presence of pets.

Winbot W2: for cleaning windows

The three main disadvantages of window cleaning robots currently on the market are their difficulty of use, their approximate results and the safety concerns related to potential falls.

To address this, ECOVACS has developed WINBOT W2, a new generation window cleaning robot, equipped with an innovative multifunctional station and advanced wet cleaning technology, which improves user comfort, safety and cleaning efficiency.

It incorporates an automatic retract and release function for fully automated operation. Its control system and suction cup have been revised to improve safety and prevent any risk of falling.

Thanks to these improvements, users can clean their glass surfaces without any hassle.

To achieve better results, WINBOT products use self-spraying instead of dry cloths or manual application of liquid cleaner.

ECOVACS GOAT G1: The Next-Generation Robotic Lawn Mower

Finally, Ecovacs presented the GOAT G1, a robotic lawn mower that has the unique feature of not requiring any perimeter wires. This is indeed a point that deters many users, and manufacturers have understood this well, since this type of robot has been multiplying in recent months, as we have already seen with the Ecoflow Blade model and the Segway Navimow model.

The Ecovacs model navigates the terrain using beacons placed around the area, which constitute the TrueMapping Multifusion system, and which require no cables, as they are rechargeable. It is thus capable of mowing up to 1500m² without complicated installation.

It also features an innovative AIVI 3D obstacle avoidance system, thanks to various sensors on the front, as well as a panoramic camera:

This technology allows it to intelligently plan its path for a perfect mow, easily avoiding trees, furniture, toys, people, or even hedgehogs and pets.

But the camera also offers a surveillance function: thanks to its panoramic camera, you can monitor your garden at a glance. Up to 10 monitoring points can be added to the ECOVACS app with a 360° view. You can opt for close-up shots, snapshots, and video recordings.
