The heat is here, and we're all looking to cool down, whether at the office, at home, or while sleeping! While air conditioning is very welcome, it's energy-intensive and not always affordable. A “simple” fan is therefore very useful, especially the model I'm presenting to you today. The Marchpower portable fan is very practical, as it's foldable, quiet, and battery-operated. It can therefore be used wherever you want! And all this at a very affordable price. Let's take a closer look… Introducing the Marchpower portable fan The packaging of the Marchpower portable fan leaves no doubt: we have a 2-in-1 fan with a 7200mAh battery, which can be used on a desk or standing in a room, and can fit into a small carrying bag. The device's main features are listed on the side:
Inside, we find the Marchpower portable fan, along with its carrying case, a power cable, a remote control, and an instruction manual.
The Marchpower portable fan is shaped like a cylinder, 25cm in diameter and 15cm high, allowing it to use large 10″ blades.

On the back, there's a USB-C port for charging. A 1.5m USB-C cord is included. You'll need to use your own power supply (for your smartphone or tablet, for example), as one isn't included.

On the bottom, there are several rubber pads that keep the Marchpower portable fan stable when placed on a table, while preventing noise from vibrations.

On one side, there's a small silver arrow. This serves not only as a nice aesthetic touch, but also to indicate where to unfold the fan.

Simply lift the “salad basket” from this point:

Place the fan vertically:

Then, raise its “head”:

The final step: turn the base of the stem to lock the fan in position:

You can then unfold it if desired, since it is mounted on a telescopic stem:

This allows you to create a fan that can be placed on a desk or dresser, for example (minimum height 40cm):

Or a much taller version that can be placed on the floor (91cm):

Note that the head can be tilted if needed, which can be useful for cooling a specific area.

On the base, once opened, we find the control panel: from there, you can turn on the Marchpower portable fan, vary its speed (5 different levels), set a timer (from 1 to 8 hours), switch to night mode, or activate the rotation. Yes, this fan can also pivot from right to left, thanks to its motorized base! It can therefore pivot 90° horizontally and be adjusted 180° vertically.

Most of these controls are also available via the infrared remote control, if you don't want to move it (distance of about 4m). As you can see, it's very comprehensive!

Finally, it comes with a protective cover. Once folded, it's a relatively compact bag, easy to take just about anywhere.
A side pocket even allows you to store accessories.

As you can see, this Marchpower portable fan is extremely comprehensive, both in terms of its features and functions!

Marchpower portable fan: in use

I've been using this fan for a few weeks now, and intensively these last few days, given the heat. It follows me everywhere: folded up, placed on my desk, and connected to a USB port. On speed 1 to get a gentle breeze in the office and counteract the heat in the room.

And in upright mode at night, in the bedroom, in fully autonomous mode using its battery, and at a higher speed, for cooler nights.
This Marchpower portable fan is efficient and really quiet, which is important to me, whether at the office or at night. The noise level ranges from only 13 to 25dB, which is really very low. It's honestly very quickly forgotten, as the PC fan is generally louder than it.
Besides its silence and the fan's power, I really appreciate its versatility thanks to its telescopic rod and battery: you can really use it anywhere! And this is true whether at home or even outdoors: it takes 30 seconds to fold and store in its carrying case, ready to accompany us to a hotel, camping, or even on a picnic.
Its lithium battery provides a good battery life, from 4 to 27 hours, which will of course depend on the fan speed used. At worst, it can run on an external battery, since it only requires 5V at 2A. A full charge only takes 5 hours.

I've owned many fan models. While they were all relatively effective, they all had two drawbacks: having to have an electrical outlet nearby, which isn't always easy depending on the location; and the space they take up when they need to be stored, once the warm season is over. The size and shape of these devices make them difficult to store properly.
The Marchpower portable fan solves both of these problems, as it's very compact when folded (you can even stack several if necessary), and it can operate anywhere without a battery, whether you have a piece of furniture to put it on or not.

Note that the blade section is easily removable for cleaning if necessary.
In short, I love it! It's the kind of product you don't particularly look for, but can't live without once you've tried it! Priced at around €75, it's a model I wish I'd discovered sooner. In any case, now that I have it, it goes everywhere with me :)
